Think about the length of the ritual
Each current core incense box contains 6 sticks. The sticks are approximately 20 cm long and burn for approximately 40–45 minutes each. That makes one stick a useful reference point for your routine, but not a commitment. You can end the ritual earlier and extinguish the incense safely.
A longer burn may suit an evening when you are staying in one room. On a rushed morning, you may prefer to keep the ritual shorter. The room should fit your life, not the other way around.
